Jeans are forever coming in and out with new styles, washes, and details. And, this season there are a couple of new options. If you have relied on one style for the past couple of years, this might be a good time to venture out and try a new jean style.
Jean Essentials: Fall 2015 Denim Guide:
THE BOYFRIEND JEAN
The boyfriend jean is more relaxed and is never flared. This jean has a lot of slouch and an easygoing vibe. The cuff is very important and can be rolled one, two, or three times.

THE FLARED JEAN
This groovy looking jean style is back. They hug the hips and thighs, but then flare out over your boot or heel. You will see a variation on the bottom flare, from moderate to wide. Stick to a very dark blue or black wash for a long leg effect.

THE GIRLFRIEND JEAN
The girlfriend is a more feminine version of the boyfriend style. It is baggy like the boyfriend style, but slimmer in the legs. The style offers a flattering shape.

THE HIGH-RISE SKINNY
Skinny jeans continue to be on trend, with a higher waist. There are still plenty of options that have a lower rise.

THE STRAIGHT LEG JEAN
This jean is wider than a skinny jean, but narrower than a flared option. Lighter shades are more casual and a darker shade will be best for a dressy look.
