Thanksgiving is officially one week away. Which also means the holiday season will kick off. Once again this year, I’ve put together a few outfit ideas. Hopefully, this will give you some inspiration when you look at your closet and decide what to wear for Thanksgiving.
Whether you are hosting your family, cooking the entire meal, or traveling out of town – I want to help take the stress away from one item – your outfit!
WHAT TO WEAR THANKSGIVING 2016
CASUAL LOOK
Take this casual and comfortable look for day or night. Yes, you can wear white jeans year round. They look great paired with a tall boot and a mixture of neutrals. If white jeans are not your thing for fall/winter, add your favorite pair of denim or cords to this look. And, if you will be partaking in Black Friday or lunch with friends this is the perfect look for both.

CASUAL LOOK #2
A step up from a jean outfit, but equally comfortable. In fact, I would argue that this look is both cozy and comfortable, and maybe even more so than a jeans outfit. You can’t go wrong with a sweater dress and booties. If you have a longer sweater that’s not quite dress length, add a pair of leggings and boots.

STYLISH LOOK
Step up your Thanksgiving outfit a bit with some leopard heels and a feminine dress. Don’t forget your accessories, which will take your look up a notch and pull it all together. And, if you will be celebrating with friends and family through the weekend, this is a fun look to wear for a nice dinner out.

SEMI-FORMAL LOOK
Perhaps your Thanksgiving is more on the formal side; a cocktail dress is a perfect choice. I’m sure you have a little back dress that is sitting and waiting for you to wear in your closet. Add some pearls or sparkle, a clutch, and a nice pair of heels, and you are all set for an elegant Thanksgiving look.
